TOTE BAGS

Lately we've been so busy that we've been practically living out of our handbags! With this said, we've ditched our small satchels for some gorgeous leather tote bags!

Here are our two picks:

Heidi Mottram Sea Lilly Eel Skin Small Tote Bag

Heidi is one of our favourite ethical handbag designers - she combines piercing colours with unusual textures that make for a beautiful end product.

Tod's Signature Large Leather Tote Bag

This bag is a classic - the black, glossy finish can compliment any outfit.

EVERYDAY WEAR

Hello all! We've been really busy and hope everyone has had a great Easter!

We can all agree that the weather in London has been an absolute coin toss - one day it's sunny and beautiful, the next it's snowing and grey.

Here are some everyday items of clothing that can shape-shift around this odd weather -

American Apparel

Mixing monochrome with a pastel spring colour makes any outfit pop and gives good balance. We love these looks above!

Ada Zanditon stocked at the fabulous Chic Freak

Tabitha and myself were unfortunately unable to attend the Ada Zanditon window launch at Chic Freak last week - however after looking at the pictures, we can see it was stunning!

We love the pastel wigs on the mannequins combined with Adas bold SS13 pieces.

Ada Zanditon recently showed her AW13 collection in Berlin at Berlin Fashion Week. Click on the video below to see the amazing new collection -

Ada Zanditon and her team were lucky to be sponsored by lowcostholidays.com who helped them getting to Berlin!

'ALL ABOUT ME'

Although the weather has been cold and gloomy in London as per usual, that hasn't stopped us from pairing our winter outfits with bold lips! Topshop have an affordable and stunning line available for just £8 a lipstick tube.

Our current favourite is 'All About Me' -

Kaffe Fassett at the FTM

It goes without saying that Kaffe Fassett is a legend in the print and textile world. Tabitha and I had the great pleasure and honor to attend the press preview for his new exhibition 'A Life in Colour' at the Fashion & Textile museum!

Here are a few picture we took while we were there -

Such a great exhibition and lovely evening!
'A Life in Colour' runs from 22 March - 29 June 2013

Rihanna for River Island

Rihanna is a fashion muse, but we regret to say that her new collection for River Island was nothing out of this world. Albeit simplicity is a great aesthetic in fashion, the pieces were not innovative and lacked creativity.

We did find a few select signature pieces we loved below:

This suede black backpack with box-like attributes and a golden pendant is perfect for the transition between winter and spring fashion. The roped straps make for a transitory outfit!

One can never have enough relaxed jeans in their wardrobe - pair these with heels as they are shown or a pair of flats for a casual, everyday look.
