Graduate fashion week is here celebrating the work of over 1000 BA degree fashion students from all over the UK hoping to follow in the footsteps of previous designers such as Stella McCartney, Mathew Williamson and Christopher Bailey, who won the first Graduate Fashion Week designer of the year award!

I am so excited for the upcoming London collections men which will start next week and kick off the menswear calender!

Designers I can't wait to see are Jenny Schwarz and Orschel-Read

as well as YMC and  Omar Kashoura!

Kirsty Ward

I have been looking at more young British designers and Oxford born Kirsty Ward is not one to be missed! She is a young designer who is on everyone's lips after scooping Elles rising star award in 2011!

I love her spring/summer 2012 collection which incorporates bold embellishments cut outs and layering!

She describes her inspiration as  a 'love to mix jewellery with clothing-blurring the line where one stops and the other starts.'

Next season look out for the introduction of her new handbag and underwear collection...I can't wait!
