Beauty Review: Revlon Just Bitten

This is our first Beauty post and today's review is on the newly launched Revlon Just Bitten lip colour range.

Revlon's Just Bitten is described as a Lipstain + Balm, which is exactly what it is- one end is the lipstain which is designed as a felt tip and the other end is a regular clear lip balm. It is available in 15 different colours but unfortunately only 7 of these colours are available here in the UK.
I purchased this in only one color,  'Frenzy' which I would describe as a dark berry colour. It lasts a very long time and is pretty easy to use. The lip balm on the end is a good addition because it allows your lips to be moisturized before applying the lip colour which makes the application easier. You also get 2 things for 1 at a good price of £7.99.

The only problem I had is that the lip balm snaps off very easily and I don't seem to be the only one, as other girls in the office had the same experience and it seems to be a common complaint online as well.

Overall, I will recommend buying this product if you're looking for a lip colour that is long lasting. I like that the lip balm adds a bit of moisture so your lips don't look dry and the colour is even. The only problem is with the lip balm that breaks off but if you experience this, you can always use another lip balm.

Revlon Just Bitten is available at Boots (3 for 2 offer) right now.

Officially a 'Phannatiq' Fanatic

It's not very often that edge and luxury come together but Anna Skodbo of Phannatiq, intergrates them both perfectly into her label. Phannatiq is a high end, urban inspired, womenswear label wth its first collection launched last year at Vauxhall Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week.

The label draws its inspiration from all around London and the fabrics used are sourced locally (for the eco-friendly fashionistas). All the Phannatiq pieces are beautifully constructed and wearable while still ensuring that you stand out from the crowd . Visit BENGT to see more available pieces from this amazing label.

Return from Glastonbury!

We are finally back from the Glastonbury Festival, it feels like we were gone for ages!
Needless to say, the festival was amazing (yes, even with all the sticky mud but our handy wellies came to the rescue) and we had a great time.

The best thing about Glastonbury, besides the live performances is the fashion. Seriously every where you turn around there's someone dressed differently. For the most part the uniform was strictly summer dresses or denim cut offs with wellies and sunglasses but some people managed to make their outfits stand out more than others.

Here are some pieces that work well for the summer and festivals.

Lace Playsuit £35
Image 1 of ASOS Tea Dress in Green Floral Print
Floral Print Tea Dress £20

White Racer Cami £15
Hunter Wellington Boots £69
Try to browse the London markets, there are many interesting pieces that can be found at places like Portobello Market, Brick Lane, Dover Street Market, and many more.
Finally, go to a festival this summer! It will definitely be worth it but always choose stylish and comfortable outfits. There is nothing worse than not being able to have fun and run around because your dress is too tight and you can't let the mud ruin those new shoes.

Vibrant prints from Eki Orleans

I'm not usually a fan of large prints but for once I was tempted - the Eki Orleans brand offers African inspired prints in the most beautiful silks that drape beautifully and swirl around the body to create a luxurious silhouette. The collection includes a range of short and maxi dresses as well as bikinis and scarves and would be a great edition to your summer wardrobe.

We've fallen in love with Danny Tang

Just popped by the Felicities Showroom and discovered a new label that I hadn't found before - Danny Tang - an outstanding womenswear designer who breathes vibrancy and beauty into his creations.

His AW11 collection in the showroom ‘Gentlemanly Feminine’ is inspired by the gracious menswear of the glamorous ‘Old Hollywood’ era including Hollywood movie stars and singers. The pieces are beautifully layered in delicate fabrics mixed with menswear suiting fabrics, to which hand sewn embellishments are applied. There are lots of stunning dresses suitable for sophisticated cocktail wear and glamourous evening looks.
